Speaking of venues… Another way we go above and beyond is by working seamlessly with other vendors. Communication doesn’t just stop with you. We want everyone to have a great time- whole team included! We will dance with the DJ, touch base with the planner/coordinator/venue, hype up the florals & design team, and make sure the caterer knows Gordon Ramsay ain’t got nothin! Hype teams? You could say that... When I get the shot- you’re gonna know. lol (Unless it’s outside of portrait hour- No noises during ceremony please!)
In addition to all this we are also incredible at adapting to changing situations with ease, and always having your best interests at heart. Are you feeling unsure about the weather but secretly you wanna go for it rain or shine any way- despite what everyone else is saying and wants? Then guess what, baby? We’re throwing on our rain gear, I’m taking your proverbial hand, and we are going for it come hell or high water. Opinions be damned. Because this is a one shot day, and I will not go to my grave saying “what if we had…” ever. We. Are. With. You. Your visions are coming true even if they’ve evolved into different visions. Guys… you already know- this is a one shot day. No matter if you choose us for the most epic experience ever or not, we always tell every one to make sure to ask these questions:
How safe is your gear? (and what does this mean?)
Ours is not only weather sealed (and we will absolutely risk it all if the sky is falling out and you want want to run through the rain with the love of your life as mentioned above), but it’s also capable of doing it’s job twice at the same time!!
Wtf does that awesomeness even mean?!?! It means that on newer camera bodies the makers, God bless those tech geniuses, started making them with the ability to use 2 cards at once. And you can set this to work any way you want! So for weddings? We set them to record the image taken to go to both cards at the same time. This means should one card fail- the other is IMMEDIATELY back up.
We also have multiple camera bodies (with these dual card capabilities), multiple lights, lenses for days, I could go on and on- mostly this is insurance. If something happens, nothing will stop us. We will risk it all for you- Oh! And we have hella insurance- licensed and insured, baby! As every legit business should be.
What is your storage workflow like after the wedding?
I’m so glad you asked! With ours, we immediately back up to multiple hard drives, cloud service, and! We don’t even clear those cards until your gallery is completely delivered AND we’ve made sure you’ve received it- remember when I said I’m huge on communication?! That includes post wedding.
This one is so huge and important, ya’ll. The other thing- We know not everyone can invest like this into their business. These are massive investments that we’ve made for your peace of mind because we want to be able to provide that level of service and reassurance. Because your day does mean that much to us.
